Michael Bernstein has an unusual combination of academic excellence and street experience. Mike attended UCLA (BA 1974) and graduated magna cum laude, and as member of the academic society Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his law degree from Hastings College of the Law (JD 1978) and was admitted to the California Bar the following year.
Mike has been representing pro football players since 1979. He obtained his NFLPA Contract Advisor’s certification in 1994. Over the years, Mike has represented draft-eligible players ranging from third round selections through undrafted free agents. He is proud to commit the same high-level of diligence in representing every client, regardless of a client’s draft status.
In 2004, Mike also founded Encina Properties, a real estate investment firm which specializes in buying and operating apartment buildings in the Bay Area. This enterprise has established a strong tract record and provides a prudent investment option for players.

Noa Porter attended University of San Francisco earning his Bachelor of Science degree in 2003. He joined Golden Gate Sports in 2006. Noa has been working alongside Mike Bernstein in research, marketing, and player relations. He is committed to being a trustworthy ally of each client. Noa fully understands the importance an honest and supportive relationship between representative and client is to facilitating a client reaching his potential.
Noa is a valuable asset for advising clients in wealth management. He obtained his California Real Estate Agent License in 2004. Having consummated many real estate transactions, Noa has gained invaluable knowledge analyzing investment opportunities.
